UMUAHIA — The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Abia State Council will hold its monthly congress on Thursday, September 3, 2026.
In a statement signed by the Council Chairman, Comrade Chidi Asonye, and Secretary, Comrade Iyke Onuegbu, mnipr, the congress will take place at the NUJ Press Centre, No. 66 Aba Road, Umuahia, by 3pm.
The Council said that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Governorship Candidate in Abia State, Dr. Kelechi Anosike, will attend the congress as Special Guest.
All members of the Union, including veterans, have been urged to attend en masse.
