Ahead of today’s game, Jamaica head coach Rudolph Speid says he expects a difficult tie against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The Reggae Boyz will face the three-time African champions in the Unity Cup final at The Valley, London, on Saturday night.
It is a repeat of last year’s final, which Nigeria won 5-4 on penalties.
Jamaica reached their second consecutive final after beating India 2-0 in the semi-final, while Nigeria also advanced with a 2-0 win over Zimbabwe.
Speid said he is looking forward to an exciting encounter.
“It’s always exciting to play against Nigeria; they play exciting football. They’re one of the powerhouses in Africa so it’s always good. We always look forward to playing them,” Speid said ahead of the game.
Kick-off is 7:30pm Nigeria time.
