Gunmen reportedly attacked the Nigeria Immigration Service office in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, on Tuesday night at about 10:00 p.m., dispossessing officers on duty of their service weapons.
Sources said the assailants invaded the facility and carted away rifles belonging to the officers before fleeing the scene.
There were no immediate reports of casualties.
The Oyo State Police Command had not issued an official statement on the incident as of press time.
