…urges Students To Aim Higher, Be Good Ambassadors
GBOKO — The Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, has charged graduating students of the Federal Government Girls’ College, FGGC, Gboko, to put God first in all their dealings as they pursue their careers.
The Governor stated this on Friday while addressing the students during their graduation ceremony at the school premises in Gboko.
He urged them to aim higher in their future studies and to become good children for their families, good citizens for their country, and great ambassadors for their school.
Governor Alia, whose nieces also graduated from the school today, encouraged the students to stay on the positive side of thinking and to make the best decisions about what they want to become in life.
“A lot of future is waiting for you,” he told them.
He wished them well and prayed that God would continue to show His presence to them as they leave the second stage of their studies and go out in pursuit of their future careers.
