Football pundit, Paul Merson, has advised Chelsea to appoint Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe as the permanent replacement for Liam Rosenior at the end of the season.
‎
‎Recall that Chelsea sacked Rosenior last week and appointed Calum McFarlane as their interim head coach for the remainder of the season.
‎
‎Meanwhile, Merson feels Howe would be the perfect replacement at Stamford Bridge and has what it takes to lead the Blues to glory next season.
‎
‎The former Arsenal player said he is a big fan of Eddie Howe, adding that if Eddie Howe leaves Newcastle, clubs will be queuing up around the corner for him because he is a top manager.
‎
‎He also advised Newcastle to be careful and do everything to keep him, saying Chelsea would take him tomorrow morning if there is any need for him to leave.
