Newsbuka can authoritatively confirm that Ahmed Musa has officially announced his retirement from international football.

‎Musa, who is currently the General Manager of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side, Kano Pillars, made the announcement on the social media on Wednesday.

‎Musa 33, made his debut for the Super Eagles in a 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against Madagascar on 5 September, 2010.

‎He was part of the Super Eagles side that won the AFCON 2013 title in South Africa.

‎Musa remains the only Nigerian to score more than once in a FIFA World Cup match.
