Bandits Kill One, Abduct Women in Coordinated Katsina Night Raids

Bandits carried out coordinated attacks across Katsina State on Sunday night, leaving one person dead, two injured, and several women assaulted.

‎According to a post on X by security expert Bakatsine, in Badole village, Ruwan Sanyi Ward, Malumfashi LGA, one resident was killed and two others sustained injuries during the attack.

‎Around 1:00 a.m., bandits also stormed the Tudun Ali area of Dandume LGA. They attacked a resident with machetes before abducting several women. The women were reportedly released at dawn after being sexually assaulted.

‎“It was another devastating night for Katsina communities, as innocent civilians continue to bear the brunt of relentless insecurity,” Bakatsine stated.
