A close associate of the APC Chairman of Koko/Besse LGA in Kebbi State has been confirmed dead while in bandits’ captivity, security analyst Bakatsine reported on X.
The victim was abducted alongside a friend in an earlier attack. Bakatsine prayed for the deceased, saying “May Almighty Allah forgive him, have mercy upon his soul, and accept his martyrdom.”
He prayed for the friend abducted alongside the deceased and other captives, asking God to grant them freedom.
The incident highlights the continued security challenges facing communities in Kebbi and neighbouring states.
As families mourn another tragic loss, many still await justice and the safe return of their loved ones, Bakatsine noted.
He concluded: “May the deceased rest in eternal peace and may comfort find those he left behind.”
