Suspected bandits have reportedly attacked Gidan Na Ango community in Dayi district, Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State.

‎A post by security expert Bakatsine on his verified X handle on Tuesday, said during the attack, the bandits allegedly made away with a motorcycle and several mobile phones before fleeing the scene.

‎He said, “Last night, suspected bandits reportedly attacked Gidan Na Ango community in Dayi district, Malumfashi Local Government Area, Katsina State. During the incident, the bandits allegedly made away with a motorcycle and several mobile phones before fleeing the scene unchallenged.”

‎Bakatsine posted that in a separate incident, security operatives responded to intelligence reports in Kwatangiri community, Funtua Local Government Area in Katsina State by apprehending two suspected bandits.

‎According to Bakatsine, the two suspect were later confirmed to be hunters and handed over to C-Watch personnel for further investigation to verify their identities and activities.

‎Meanwhile, members of the communities have been advised to remain calm as security agencies continue monitoring both areas and conducting investigations.
