Nigeria’s Super Eagles has moved to 26th place in the latest FIFA World ranking released on Monday.

‎With the latest surge, the Super Eagles recorded a remarkable 12-place jump.

‎Newsbuka reports that the Nigerian national team climbed from 38th after an impressive outing at the 2025 AFCON in Morocco, where they finished third overall.

‎The Super Eagles is now the third-best team in Africa, behind AFCON winners Senegal, ranked 12th globally.

‎Algeria and Egypt occupy fourth and fifth positions on the African ranking.

‎In the same vein, Spain, Argentina, France, England, Brazil, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Croatia make up the world’s top 10 teams.
