Nigeria’s Super Eagles has moved to 26th place in the latest FIFA World ranking released on Monday.
With the latest surge, the Super Eagles recorded a remarkable 12-place jump.
Newsbuka reports that the Nigerian national team climbed from 38th after an impressive outing at the 2025 AFCON in Morocco, where they finished third overall.
The Super Eagles is now the third-best team in Africa, behind AFCON winners Senegal, ranked 12th globally.
Algeria and Egypt occupy fourth and fifth positions on the African ranking.
In the same vein, Spain, Argentina, France, England, Brazil, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Croatia make up the world’s top 10 teams.
