Enugu — Enugu Air has confirmed that one of its aircraft operating into Benin was involved in a runway incursion after landing on Wednesday, assuring the public that all passengers and crew members are safe.
The airline, in a public notice, said everyone on board disembarked safely, with no injuries or casualties recorded.
It added that the aircraft has been secured, while the relevant aviation authorities have been notified in line with established safety procedures.
According to the airline, an assessment of the aircraft and the circumstances surrounding the incident is currently underway.
Flight Schedule Adjustments
Enugu Air also advised passengers to expect temporary adjustments to some flight schedules as a result of the incident. It said affected passengers would be contacted directly and provided with the necessary assistance.
Reaffirming its commitment to safety, the airline stressed that the safety of its passengers, crew and operations remains its highest priority, adding that further updates would be communicated through its official channels as more information becomes available.
