KAURA NAMODA — Bandits attacked Magami Dantoro village in Gabake Ward, Kaura Namoda Local Government Area of Zamfara State last night, killing one resident, injuring another and looting community property.
According to a report by security analyst Bakatsine on his X handle, the attack has left residents in fear and has heightened calls for urgent security reinforcement in the area.
Sources said security personnel responded to the incident. Residents expressed gratitude to the personnel and prayed for lasting peace to return across Zamfara State.
The attack adds to growing concerns over repeated assaults on rural communities in the state. Residents are now asking: “How many more rural communities must suffer such attacks before effective, sustained security measures are put in place?”
