Security expert Bakatsine has reported that bandits stormed Gubuchi community in Makarfi Local Government Area of Kaduna State last night, shooting sporadically and abducting Alhaji Rabo Gesha, a prominent businessman and philanthropist in the community.
According to a post on X made 2 hours ago, the attack has left residents deeply shaken, with growing fears over the safety of people in the area.
“Prayers are with Alhaji Rabo Gesha and his family. We hope he returns home safely,” Bakatsine wrote.
He also questioned the continued insecurity: “How long will communities continue to live in fear of night attacks and abductions before something decisive is done?”
As at the time of filing this report, authorities are yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
