A survivor has recounted how bandits tortured captives, killed one of them, and burned victims alive during 15 days in captivity in the Northwest.
In a testimony shared on X by security analyst Bakatsine, the survivor described the brutal conditions inside bandit camps, including inhumane treatment and the murder of a fellow captive.
“Bandits burned us alive and killed our friend after holding us captive for 15 days,” the survivor said.
The account highlights the continued ordeal faced by villagers abducted by armed groups operating in parts of the Northwest, where kidnapping and attacks on rural communities persist.
