President Bola Tinubu will receive the All Progressives Congress, APC, certificate of return and the party’s flag as its presidential candidate for the 2027 election on Sunday.
According to a statement by presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga, the presentation will hold at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja after the nationwide collation of results from the party’s primary election.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Sunday receive the certificate and flag of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as its presidential candidate for the 2027 elections,” Onanuga said in a post shared on X on Saturday.
The statement added that APC governors, members of the National Executive Committee, the National Working Committee, lawmakers from the National Assembly, and other party leaders are expected to attend the event.
