Do you know the official ball for the 2025 AFCON Nations Cup? Your guess is as good as mine.
The official match ball for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 is known as “ITRI”.
It is a Puma ball inspired by Morocco’s traditional “zellij art”. It features intricate geometric patterns, a central star, and colors of red and green indicating passion, hope, and unity. It is built on Puma’s Orbita 6 technology for elite performance.
What Are Other Features of ITRI?
For emphasis, “ITRI” means “star” in the Berber language, honoring the Moroccan flag and traditional art.
The design include: intricate, geometric zellij patterns, reflecting Moroccan heritage, with red and green colors for passion and unity.
It is built on PUMA’s Orbita 6 technology, used in top European leagues, ensuring stability and precise flight.
Also, the circular symmetry represents the 24 participating African nations, while star patterns signify ambition.
The ball will make it’s debut at the tournament’s opening match on December 21, 2025 between host country Morocco vs Comoros which will be played at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, Rabat by 19:00.
