Troops of 63 Brigade, Sector 1 Joint Task Force, Operation DELTA SAFE, have recovered seven rifles and two motorcycles from an abandoned police station in Ibusa, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The Army said the raid was conducted on June 4, 2026, following credible intelligence. The arms and motorcycles were found hidden in the disused facility.
Commander of 63 Brigade, Brigadier General Moronfolu Abdulmoshood Shonibare, commended the troops for the operation, saying that the formation remains committed to denying criminals freedom of action in the state.
He warned that individuals or groups found harbouring arms will face prosecution.
