Troops of 63 Brigade, Sector 1 Joint Task Force, Operation DELTA SAFE, have recovered seven rifles and two motorcycles from an abandoned police station in Ibusa, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State.

‎The Army said the raid was conducted on June 4, 2026, following credible intelligence. The arms and motorcycles were found hidden in the disused facility.

‎Commander of 63 Brigade, Brigadier General Moronfolu Abdulmoshood Shonibare, commended the troops for the operation, saying that the formation remains committed to denying criminals freedom of action in the state.
‎
‎He warned that individuals or groups found harbouring arms will face prosecution.
‎
