‎Troops Intercept Suspected Boko Haram Fuel Suppliers in Yobe

Troops of Operation HADIN KAI intercepted a vehicle carrying suspected logistics supplies for Boko Haram terrorists in Yusufari, Yobe State, according to security expert Zagazola Makama.

‎Military sources told Makama the operation was carried out on March 24 by 241 Battalion troops at a Forward Operating Base in Jajimaji.

‎During the operation, two vehicles loaded with fuel were intercepted at a filling station; one was recovered, and the other fled.

‎Also recovered were: seven sacks of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) were found, with two suspects, Mohammed Idi (25) and Mero Umra (21), arrested.

‎The filling station manager, Hasan Liman (50), and security guard, Jibril Audu (28), were also apprehended just as N1.6 million suspected proceeds were recovered.

‎According to Makama, suspects and items are in military custody pending investigation.
