Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, has stated that the President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope administration has deliberately prioritised economic growth, stability, and structural reforms, thus driving sustainability across every sector of the national economy.

‎‎Uzodimma who stated this in a post on his verified X handle on Tuesday, added that the policies are already yielding measurable and positive impacts across the country, strengthening investor confidence and expanding opportunities for citizens.

‎The Imo State helmsman, revealed this while participating in an Economic Panel Session at the National Economic Council (NEC) Conference 2026.

Speaking on the theme, “Building a $1 Trillion Economy: Contribution of the Renewed Hope Ward-Based Development Plan (2026–2030) in Setting Nigeria on a Path of National Growth and Prosperity, Uzodimma said the strong collaboration between the Federal Government and sub-national governments, has further enabled States to align with national development objectives.

‎He revealed that Imo State had already launched the $1 Trillion Economy initiative, targeting key sectors to accelerate inclusive growth, productivity, and long-term prosperity for the people.
