Super Eagles will have a chance to improve their position in the ranking with a good performance at the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Spain maintained the number one position ahead World champions Argentina while France, England, and Brazil complete the top five in the world.
The next FIFA men’s ranking will be released on 19 January, 2026.
