Troops of the Joint Task Force Operation HADIN KAI, working with civilian hunters and the Vigilante Group of Nigeria, have arrested a suspected ISWAP informant, Abdullahi Umar, 25, in Gombi, Adamawa State.

‎According to security expert Zaragoza Makama, Umar, a native of Gwoza, was caught on March 23 following intel on ISWAP presence in the area.
‎
‎He is accused of conducting reconnaissance on routes leading to the 232 Battalion area and military structures, aiming to identify entry points for future attacks.
‎
‎According to Makama, Umar also confessed to involvement in the recent Ngoshe troop attack and is now in military custody for further investigation.
