Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, says God has anointed him as a “divine goalkeeper” to protect the state from intruders ahead of the August 15, 2026 governorship election.
In a post on his verified X handle, Adeleke said he has been “divinely affirmed as the goalkeeper to man the goalpost of Osun State Government against any potential intruder”.
He highlighted his administration’s achievements in infrastructure, workers’ welfare, education, healthcare, and grassroots empowerment, saying the record “speaks for itself”.
“As we prepare for the August 15 election, I am ready to visit every town and village to present our achievements and unveil an updated Five Point Agenda for a greater Osun,” the governor added.
Adeleke called on opposition parties to focus on issue-based campaigns, saying Osun people should decide based on “facts, performance and truth”.
