Fubara Joins VP Shettima In Port Harcourt For 163rd Nigerian Army Day Celebration

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State joined Vice President Kashim Shettima in Port Harcourt for the 163rd Nigerian Army Day Celebration.

‎Vice President Shettima represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the event held in the state capital.

‎Speaking after the ceremony, Governor Fubara described the occasion as significant not only in honouring the sacrifices and resilience of the Nigerian Army, but also as an endorsement of the prevailing peace and security in Rivers State.

‎He said: “It was a significant event not just for the Nigerian Army celebrating their sacrifices, resilience and enduring legacies in defending the nation, but also a clear endorsement and affirmation of the prevailing peace and safety of Rivers State.”

‎The Governor commended President Tinubu for his commitment to strengthening the Nigerian Army, and assured that his administration would continue to support the operations of all security agencies in the state.
