Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has commissioned three key projects in Maiha Local Government Area to boost infrastructure, drive economic activities, and improve the well-being of residents.
The projects commissioned on Friday are the 5.7km Maiha Township Road, the Maiha Local Government Lodge, and the Fresh Air Store.
Fintiri said the projects were designed to ease movement within the township, strengthen local government administration, and provide a modern trading hub for businesses to thrive.
He commended the people of Maiha for their peaceful coexistence and support for government policies.
The governor urged the incoming local government administration to build on the foundation laid by working closely with citizens and traditional institutions.
“This administration remains committed to delivering people-oriented projects across all 21 local government areas. Development at the grassroots is the bedrock of sustainable progress,” Fintiri stated.
He charged traditional rulers and community leaders to continue mobilising residents for peace, unity, and collective ownership of public projects.
The governor assured that more infrastructure and economic empowerment projects will be delivered across Adamawa to improve living standards and create opportunities for all.
