It is no understatement that poor electricity supply has dealt a heavy blow to families and artisans in Isiala Ngwa who need power to work, produce, and feed their homes.
The claim of “24/7 power supply” in Abia remains propaganda. Residents still lack steady electricity. The bragging at conferences does not match the current reality of power supply in Umuahia, Aba and environs.
In the light of the above, Chief Uzo Ihuka, APC candidate for Isiala Ngwa North/South Federal Constituency, has made sustainable power supply one of his key legislative priorities.
To address it, Chief Ihuka has pledged to galvanise all legitimate forces for uninterrupted power supply across Isiala Ngwa North and South.
If elected, he has promised to collaborate with stakeholders to tackle low generation capacity. He has equally insisted that there must be effective regulation, proper coordination of operators, and a radical overhaul of infrastructure in the power sector.
But Chief Ihuka is not just a promise man. He fulfils his word. Through oversight and legislation, he will lead the charge with his colleagues to build an efficient power sector regime that delivers light to every workshop, shop, and home in Isiala Ngwa.
This election, Isiala Ngwa faces one choice: Continue with darkness and excuses…Or choose Chief Uzo Ihuka and bring the light home.
