Kabiru Babali, popularly known as Takaye, has been released after spending nearly two months in captivity following his abduction by bandits.
The report was shared on X by security expert Bakatsine, who also posted a picture of Babali after his release.
For weeks, his family lived between hope and heartbreak, unsure if they would see him again. His release has now ended what they described as a painful chapter.
While one family celebrates, the report noted that many others remain in captivity, still waiting for rescue or reunion.
