Newsbuka has learnt that Serie A giants, Inter Milan is considering a move for Fulham defender, Calvin Bassey.
Bassey has caught the eyes of clubs in Europe following his performance in Fulham since arriving from Eredivisie giants, Ajax in 2023.
The Nigeria international, who can operate as a centre-back or left-back, is currently regarded as one of the best defenders in the Premier League.
Due to his performance, Newsbuka understands that Inter have emerged latest admirers of the Nigeria international.
The Nerrazzuri are desperate for a defensive reinforcements this month with the club considering a move for Bassey this January.
Newsbuka also gathered that Fulham is unlikely to let Bassey go during this current transfer window.
They might consider letting him go during the summer when the Whites can get a quality replacement.
Recall that Bassey is currently away on international duty with Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations alongside club teammates Alex Iwobi and Samuel Chukwueze.
