The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Isiala North/South Federal Constituency, Chief Uzoma Ihuka, has called for total party unity following the conclusion of the party’s recent primary elections.
In an official statement he personally endorsed and made available to newsmen on Wednesday, Ihuka commended his fellow contender, Hon. Chief Patrick Onwuka, for accepting the primary election outcome and prioritising the party’s collective interests over personal ambition.
Describing internal primaries as contests among family members rather than battles, Ihuka emphasised that political exercises should not create permanent divisions.
Ihuka urged Onwuka to mobilise his supporters, including the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, to secure victories for all APC candidates across Abia State.
He specifically called for a unified front to ensure the election of Chief Eric Opah and the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
While concluding his statement, Ihuka maintained that history rewards those who choose service over self, declaring that a united APC is essential to delivering victory in Abia State and across Nigeria under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
