Police in Kebbi State have arrested seven suspected bandits during intelligence-led operations targeting criminal networks in the Soda Forest axis and border communities of Bagudo LGA.

‎Spokesman of the Command in the state, SP Bashir Usman said the suspects were picked up in separate operations along Illo–Lolo Road and Bakin Ruwa–Ka’oje axis following intensified operations against banditry.
‎
‎According to him, preliminary investigations show the suspects allegedly provided logistics support to criminals operating from forest hideouts.
‎
‎The command said investigations are ongoing to determine their possible involvement in recent attacks, including the killing of three FRSC personnel.
‎
‎Meanwhile, Commissioner of Police in the state , CP Umar M. Hadejia described the arrests as a major breakthrough and reaffirmed the command’s commitment to sustaining operations across the state.
