Imo First Lady, Chioma Uzodimma, has described the relationship between Nigeria and Israel as one built on shared history, culture, innovation, and diplomatic partnership.

‎She stated this during Israel’s 78th Independence Day celebration held in Abuja on Tuesday.


Posting on her verified X handle, she said the event was held on the invitation of the Embassy of Israel in Nigeria.

‎Uzodimma described Israel’s journey over nearly eight decades as a global example of resilience and technological advancement.

She noted that collaboration in agriculture, technology, and education continues to build a foundation for mutual prosperity between both countries.

‎“May this partnership continue yielding meaningful opportunities for both our people,” she added.

‎Israel’s 78th Independence Day, also called Yom Ha’atzmaut, marks the country’s declaration of independence in 1948.
