Troops of Joint Task Force North East, Operation HADIN KAI have rescued two victims abducted during a terrorist attack on Ngoshe community on March 3, 2026.

‎Media Information Officer of Operation HADIN KAI, Lt. Col. Sani Uba, said the victims, Maryam Muhammad and her one-year-old son, Bello, escaped from a terrorist enclave in the Mandara Mountains following intense military operations.

‎Furthermore, two other abductees, Binta Umaru and her two-year-old daughter, Hafsat Ibrahim, surrendered to troops along the Gwoza–Limankara road after fleeing another enclave in the same area.
