History has a way of reminding us.
Long after political arguments fade, enduring projects remain. The Federal Polytechnic, Ngodo Isuochi, is one of them.
This first-ever Federal Polytechnic in Abia State was attracted by Rt. Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, PhD, OON, APC Candidate for Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in the 2027 elections.
Today, Isuochi is on Nigeria’s educational map for a reason. The permanent site is rising, with the newly completed Engineering Department building already standing tall. Academic activities have also commenced at the temporary campus in Nkwoagu, where multiple batches of students have been matriculated and are in class.
This is bigger than politics.
A federal institution is not a handout for one season. It is a permanent asset. It creates jobs, grows businesses around it, attracts investment, and trains the next generation of engineers, technicians and entrepreneurs from Isuochi, Umunneochi, Isuikwuato, Abia and Nigeria.
While tricycles and motorcycles can help for a time, a polytechnic empowers entire communities for generations.
That is the difference between tokenism and legacy.
The people of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi and Abia State owe Rt. Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, PhD, OON, a debt of gratitude for this landmark achievement.
With work progressing across other faculties, the vision is unfolding. The Federal Polytechnic, Ngodo Isuochi, is not just a project. It is a legacy that will outlive us all.
Can Nkiruka Onyejeocha attract more if elected in 2027 to represent Isiukwato/ Umunneochi Federal Constituency? the answer is capital YES!
