ABUJA — Former Sokoto State Governor and ex-Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has felicitated with the Labour Party 2023 presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, on his 65th birthday.

‎In a birthday message posted on X on Sunday, Tambuwal described Obi’s 65th milestone as “a testament to a life of service, discipline, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the progress of our dear nation.”

‎“Over the years, you have distinguished yourself through your dedication to good governance, prudent leadership, and your enduring passion for building a more prosperous and equitable Nigeria,” Tambuwal said.

‎He noted that Obi’s contributions to national discourse have enriched Nigeria’s democracy and inspired millions of young Nigerians to remain engaged in nation-building.

‎“As you celebrate this special day, I pray that Almighty God grants you continued good health, wisdom, strength, and many more years of impactful service to our nation and humanity,” Tambuwal added.

‎He concluded: “Happy 65th Birthday, Your Excellency. — AWT”

‎Peter Obi served as Governor of Anambra State from 2006 to 2014 and was the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections.
