Senator Adams Oshiomhole has denied claiming forgery in the suspension of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
In a statement issued Tuesday, Oshiomhole said his comments during an AIT interview were misrepresented.
He insisted he never claimed any senator’s signature was forged.
Clarifying his remarks, the senator explained that he only referred to an allegation by a committee member that some senators’ attendance signatures were attached to the committee’s final report.
Oshiomhole further stated that the controversy surrounding Akpoti-Uduaghan’s suspension had been resolved and that the Senate had moved on from the matter.
