One person was killed and 27 others, mostly women, abducted in Nahuce community, Bungudu LGA, Zamfara State on Sunday evening.
Security expert Bakatsine confirmed the attack in a post on his verified X handle on Monday, stating that abductees include pregnant and nursing mothers.
This incident follows a previous abduction three months ago, where 23 people were taken and only three returned. Nearly 50 community members remain in captivity.
The abduction has raised concerns about urgent measures needed to secure hostage release and prevent future attacks in Zamfara State.
Bakatsine’s post highlighted the ongoing insecurity, urging authorities to act.
