‎No Individual is Bigger than APC, Hon Kalu Reminds Stakeholders in Bende

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu, has emphasised the importance of unity, discipline, and respect for party supremacy.

‎Hon. Kalu who stated this on Wednesday during the Ward Congress of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bende Ward in Bende LGA, Abia State, said no individual is bigger than the party and the decision of the NEC and the Caucus remains binding.

‎Posting on his verified X handle, the Deputy Speaker House of Reps, added that during the Ward Congress, stakeholders were also addressed on the need for peaceful consultation and a harmonised ward congress that reflects the collective will of members.

‎Kalu appreciated the National Chairman of the APC, Nentawe Yilwatda, and the National Working Committee for ensuring that the directive was implemented.

‎He also reminded party faithful of the aim of the party, saying it centers on returning the party to the people, give every stakeholder a sense of belonging, and strengthen the structures from the ward level upward.

‎He also lauded the 7-man Local Organising Committee, led by Chief Marc Wabara, and the Congress Committee Chairman, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Go’ar for their commitment in conducting a credible, transparent, and peaceful exercise.

‎He congratulated the newly elected executives of his ward and other wards across the state, expressing confidence in their collective ability to work tirelessly for the continuation of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

‎Kalu added, “The message remains consistent: Abia APC belongs to all of us. Through dialogue, reconciliation, and harmonization, we will continue to build a stronger, more united party poised for greater success.”
