Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, has resigned from the African Democratic Congress, ADC, following Atiku Abubakar’s emergence as the party’s presidential candidate.
Lawal said the ADC presidential primary results were written to favour Atiku and vowed he would not be part of the former vice president’s campaign for the 2027 election.
He described Atiku as incompetent and accused him of tribal and religious bigotry, adding that President Bola Tinubu would be a better president than the former VP.
