Bandits attacked Rabah Local Government Area of Sokoto State on Tuesday night, kidnapping several residents.
The attack is the latest in a series of violent incidents affecting Northwest, Nigeria.
Security expert Bakatsine confirmed the attack on his official X handle, saying gunmen stormed the town under the cover of darkness, abducting several people and leaving families in distress.
This incident follows a similar attack last week, where 16 people were abducted, and kidnappers demanded a 20 million naira ransom and three motorcycles.
According to Bakatsine, residents are questioning the effectiveness of security measures, asking how many more lives will be disrupted before action is taken to protect communities.
