Governor Charles Soludo says his administration’s push to make Anambra “Africa’s Silicon Valley” is driven by strategy, not politics.

‎Speaking at the graduation of the Anambra Startup Investment and Technology Skills Programme in Awka, Soludo said the goal is to secure the future of the state and its people.

‎“The urgent need now is to integrate technology into every sector of our economy and every level of governance,” he stated. “As the world evolves at an unprecedented pace, our young people must be equipped with skills to thrive in the digital age.”

‎In a post on his official X handle , he pointed to the Solution Innovation District, SID, and the 1 Million Anambra Digital Tribe as the foundation for a technology-driven, globally competitive economy.

‎Soludo congratulated graduates trained in robotics and ISO network engineering, and commended partners and sponsors for building Anambra’s innovation ecosystem.

‎He added that Anambra is emerging as a hub for technology, innovation and digital enterprise, and pledged to sustain the momentum.

‎“May Anambra continue to win,” the governor said.
