Super Eagles captain, Wilfred Ndidi has insisted that the team will improve in their subsequent games at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Recall that Eric Chelle’s side laboured to a 2-1 victory over Tanzania in their first game on Tuesday.
Aside their dominance in the game, they were let down by poor finishing.
But Ndidi stated that it is normal for the team to struggle in their opening fixture, claiming that maximum points is the most important thing.
Nigeria’s next game is against the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia on Saturday.
