The Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for Isiala Ngwa North/South Federal Constituency, Chief Uzoma Ihuka, has felicitated Muslim faithful in Isiala Ngwa North/South, Abia State and across Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid-ul-Mawlid, the celebration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad.
In a statement he personally signed, Ihuka described Eid-ul-Mawlid as “a time for reflection on the virtues of peace, tolerance, compassion and service to humanity which the Holy Prophet embodied.”
He urged Muslim faithful to use the occasion to pray for peace, unity and progress.
“Muslim brothers and sisters should use this period to pray for the peace, unity and progress of Isiala Ngwa North/South, Abia State and Nigeria. We must also continue to uphold the values of love, sacrifice and brotherhood in our daily lives,” he said.
Chief Ihuka also called on all citizens, regardless of faith or ethnicity, to “embrace the spirit of the season by extending goodwill to one another.”
He reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive representation that guarantees religious harmony, social justice and prosperity for all.
The APC candidate wished all Muslim faithful a peaceful and joyous Eid-ul-Mawlid celebration.
