KAURA NAMODA — Bandits attacked Magami Dantoro village in Gabake Ward, Kaura Namoda Local Government Area of Zamfara State last night, killing one resident, injuring another and looting community property.

‎According to a report by security analyst Bakatsine on his X handle, the attack has left residents in fear and has heightened calls for urgent security reinforcement in the area.

‎Sources said security personnel responded to the incident. Residents expressed gratitude to the personnel and prayed for lasting peace to return across Zamfara State.

‎The attack adds to growing concerns over repeated assaults on rural communities in the state. Residents are now asking: “How many more rural communities must suffer such attacks before effective, sustained security measures are put in place?”
