Troops Rescue 6 Kidnap Victims in Katsina During Operation FANSAN YAMMA

Troops of the 17 Brigade, Sector 2, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, have rescued six kidnap victims abandoned by fleeing terrorists during an offensive in Unguwan Doka, Faskari LGA, Katsina State.

‎Security analyst, Bakatsine, disclosed this on X on Tuesday, saying the operation took place on Monday afternoon.

‎The victims comprise four women and two children. They told troops they were abducted on March 11, 2026, along the Tsafe–Bilbis road in Tsafe LGA, Zamfara State.

‎According to Bakatsine, the victims are from Bilbis village. The military said efforts are underway to reunite them with their families.
