Troops of Sector 2, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, have arrested a suspected terrorist logistics supplier during a routine stop-and-search operation along the Sokoto–Gusau Road in Zamfara State.

‎Security expert Bakatsine while posting on his X handle, said the suspect was intercepted on Wednesday afternoon while transporting military-grade supplies, the military said.

‎Items recovered include 150 pairs of combat boots, 3 jackknives, 3 electric shockers, a tear gas canister, a beret, a belt, 2 Android phones, an iPad, and a digital wristwatch.

‎“The suspect is currently in custody as investigations continue,” a statement read.

‎The military commended the troops for their vigilance and professionalism in disrupting terrorist logistics networks.
