A frontline aspirant for the Umuahia South State Constituency seat in the 2027 general elections, Mr. Chigozie Ibeleme, has officially picked his nomination and expression of interest forms, reaffirming his commitment to effective representation.
Ibeleme said the move reflects his desire to redefine representation and engender good governance in Umuahia South.
He added that his ambition is to be a beacon of hope for younger generations and to address years of neglect in quality representation.
Founder of the Chigozie Ibeleme Foundation, he noted that the foundation has continued to provide succour to vulnerable people in the area. He described the initiative as evidence of his people-oriented approach to leadership.
Stakeholders and supporters across Umuahia South have expressed confidence in his candidacy, describing him as a credible alternative with the capacity to deliver quality representation.
They cited his experience and exposure to leadership practices during his years in the United Kingdom.
According to Ibeleme, his driving motivation has always been the question of what he can do for his people to rekindle their hope and commitment to a better future.
