Suspected bandits have attacked Kurfar Danya community in Bukkuyyum LGA, Zamfara State, leading to the killing of an elder, Baba Kadago.
Confirming the attack, a security expert, Bakatsine, while posting on his verified X handle, said the attack took place on Friday.
According to him, the bandits also abducted six women as well as razed multiple homes just as the incident has left the community in shock.
Bakatsine posted, “Yesterday, bandits attacked Kurfar Danya in Bukkuyyum LGA, Zamfara State. The attack reportedly resulted in the death of an elder known as Baba Kadago, abduction of six women, and the burning of multiple homes. The incident has left the community in shock.
”Why do these violent attacks on communities continue, and what measures are being taken to ensure the safety of residents?”
Meanwhile, as at the time of filing the report, authorities were yet to respond to the attack.
