Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has finally rejoined the All Progressives Congress, APC, after resigning from the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP.
The Governor had earlier resigned from the NNPP, citing protracted internal crises and legal disputes, which according to him have weakened the party’s cohesion nationwide.
Reports suggested that the Governor was billed to rejoin the APC on Monday, after resigning from the NNPP last Friday.
Recall that earlier, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Jibril Ismail Falgore, his Deputy, Muhammad Butu- Butu, the Majority Leader, Lawan Hussain, and 19 other lawmakers officially defected from the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, to the All Progressives Congress, APC
