‎Following attack on worshippers and kidnap of Christian worshippers in Kajuru local government area of the state, the Kaduna State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has condemned the recent mass abduction.

‎‎Recall that bandits on Sunday, abducted about 170 worshippers from three different church services in Kajuru local government area with six of them miraculously escaping from the abductors and returned home with different degrees of injuries on their bodies after receiving serious beating.

‎Responding to the development , the state CAN chairman, Rev. Caleb Ma’aji Bawa, said the mass abduction of worshippers is regrettable, shameful and disappointing.

‎He admitted that the incident happened at a time governments at all levels are doing their best to ensure Nigerians go about their businesses in order to earn a living.

‎Rev. Bawa prayed for safe return of all those kidnapped and also asked for divine intervention in order to bring an end to the continuous kidnapping and other criminal activities in different parts of the country.

‎He called on citizens to partner the government and security personnel to expose all criminal elements in the society, stressing that it is only when Nigerians collectively condemn such barbaric acts that the society will enjoy God’s divine purpose.

Bawa appreciated the security personnel for doing their best to neutralize criminals and urged them to be up and doing in ensuring that they expose plans of enemies of progress in order to ensure stability in the country.
