Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has lampooned President Bola Tinubu over the abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State.
Speaking during a protest in Abuja, Sowore said protesters will march to Aso Rock in four days if the kidnapped victims are not rescued.
“You cannot claim to be president of Nigeria and then refuse to do the job of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. We are here with the teachers and will ensure they are protected,” Sowore said.
“It would have been great if this number of policemen could be deployed to protect our schools. When schools become grounds for kidnapping, one day your children will be kidnapped.
“On Thursday, we are going to Aso Rock Villa if the children are not rescued,” he added.
