Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has met with the Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, and the Minister of State for Works, Rt. Hon. Bello Muhammad Goronyo, ahead the groundbreaking for the reconstruction of the 122-kilometre Mando–Birnin Gwari Road.

‎The Governor disclosed this in a post on his X handle on Thursday. He said the meeting reviewed the state of preparedness and concluded arrangements for the successful commencement of the project.

‎Sani stated that discussions focused on ensuring a seamless flag-off and timely delivery of the strategic highway. He said the road will restore a vital economic corridor, strengthen security, improve regional connectivity, and facilitate the efficient movement of people and goods.

‎According to him, the project will also stimulate agriculture, commerce and inclusive economic growth across Birnin Gwari and adjoining communities.

‎The Governor expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving the transformative project and providing resources for its execution.

‎“Kaduna State remains steadfast in its commitment to working closely with the Federal Government to ensure the successful and timely delivery of this critical infrastructure for the benefit of our people and the nation,” he said.
